Oaks and Smokes 2014

The smoker was going all day and the ribeyes were cooked perfectly! You could probably smell our delicious ribs from the YUM! Center. With a chef attended carving station and ready to serve pasta station, our chefs certainly outdid themselves for Oaks and Smokes this year.

What will the cook up next year?!

Oh, you fancy huh?

As a catering company it is important to feel confident about a product that you put out. We take pride in using local organic and sustainable food to match our client's specific tastes and style. You can taste the difference in the product we present.

Seated dinners our some of our favorite meals to prepare and display. The colors, flavors, textures and presentation are all beautiful to behold in a seated option. Which is perfect because we have tons of options to meet your specific needs.

We also can fully customize a seated option if you wish to create a menu from scratch. If you have a certain theme or style you wish to represent, no problem! We love to get creative and think outside the box...

Seated dinners not only look wonderful, but at Crushed Ice Events we always try to add a little flair.

Check out our seated dinner options on our website.

Mushy, Gushy Meals and Stuff

Tis the season of LOVE and flowers and chocolates and hugs and kisses and all of the mushy, gushy stuff no one seems to like but secretly really loves... :)

Everyone wants to do something for the person you love on Valentine's Day, even if you hate it... and what better way to do something than to make them a meal?! It takes time and consideration and care! So, here are some little ideas to get those brain gears a rollin'!

First off... BREAKFAST

don't go "bacon" my heart...

How about some pancakes?!

Secondly... LUNCH

Maybe you can't be with them... but putting their sandwich in a little baggie is just as great.

Add a little note to their fruit

Or, how about switching hearts in apples? Cause you "hold each others hearts!"
(you can gag now if necessary.. I know it's cheesy)

Last but not least, the most important Valentine's Day meal ever... DINNER

Ok, so you are broke and you can't go out to eat... no problem! Who needs to wait 2 hours for a table for food you could cook yourself? Get all dressed up and have a great dinner at home!

Not really into the fancy stuff? Pizza is always delicious, as are burgers.

Want to push the limits a little bit? Go for this Filet Steak with Wild Mushrooms and Shallots with some Proscuitto Wrapped Asparagus?! Recipe

Desserts are the best... especially on Valentine's Day.
Chocolate covered strawberries? A little cliche, but they are so good.. so, YES!

Or this...

Or these!!!

OR Tiramisu?!

The kitchen is your canvas.. now, paint!.. and have a fantastic day of love, happiness and all that mushy stuff :)

oh, and don't forget the wine.

"eat, drink & be merry"
